Daratumumab is an IgG1κ human mAb that binds to cluster of differentiation 38 (CD38; also known as cyclic ADP ribose hydrolase) and inhibits the growth of tumor cells by apoptosis directly through Fc-mediated as well as by immune-mediated tumor cell lysis through complement dependent cytotoxicity.
